Supporting Someone With Depression Worksheet

Supporting a loved one with depression can be challenging. It can be mentally, emotionally, and physically draining, and can lead to burnout and exhaustion without the right tools. While it is a gesture of love to support a loved one who is struggling with depression, it is important to do so in a healthy way.

There are ways to teach a client or their loved one how to support someone with depression in a way that does not impact their own wellness. Knowing how to set personal boundaries and stay patient with a loved one's symptoms is an important part of providing support.

About This Worksheet
