Children can benefit from learning and practicing mindfulness skills. Mindfulness can help kids cope with uncomfortable feelings and calm their minds. It can also help with improving concentration. Mindfulness can be used as an aid in improving behavior at school and home, as well as reducing reactivity caused by stress.
Mindfulness activities help children prepare for stressful situations by teaching them what to do when faced with challenges. They can be simple and fun, and with practice, can help a child learn how to regulate their emotions.
